Pizza & Focaccia
The focaccia comes from a bread dough, spread on a baking sheet (about 2 cm), seasoned with extra virgin olive oil and coarse salt. The secret of her fragrance is to be found in flour quality and especially the use of quality extra virgin olive oil.
We can be add to the traditional dough other quality ingredients like pork scratchings ("graséi" in piacenza dialect),in according to Castel San Giovanni old recipes.
Among the many proposals there are also: the focaccia with vegetables, with nettles, with onions, with pachino tomatoes and cheese DOP, with olives, peppers, potatoes and rosemary. We have also sweet focaccia with pumpkin and raisin, withe pizza (without tomatoes), and the news of the day.
